Bokashi Composting Workshop

Join us for a group trip out to a queer-run community farm in Chelsea, Michigan, where folks are hosting a hands-on workshop on Bokashi composting—a fermentation-based method that allows you to compost a wider range of food waste, including things traditional systems struggle with.

We’ll be attending together as a group, using this as an opportunity to connect with another organization in Southeast Michigan that’s actively building queer community and expanding shared ecological resources. Expect a mix of practical learning, land-based connection, and relationship-building across networks.

We’ll coordinate carpooling to make the trip accessible—join the Discord or Signal group to plug into rides and logistics.

No cost to attend. Just bring curiosity and a willingness to get a little into the weeds.
