Canning Workshop: Preserving Your Bountiful Harvest.
Hosted by MISC•aLAIR•é•Omm… & Queer Garden Network
Join us for an evening of hands-on learning and genuine community connection at the Canning Workshop: Preserving Your Bountiful Harvest.
In the first part of the evening, you’ll gain practical, confidence-building skills as we walk through safe pressure canning and hot water bath methods using trusted USDA guidelines. You’ll receive a clear, one-page reference sheet to take home so you can confidently preserve your garden’s harvest all season long. This is the perfect opportunity to finally master the techniques you’ve been curious about while learning alongside others in a supportive environment.

After the workshop, we shift into a relaxed vibe around the campfire. Enjoy a chill potluck where you can unwind, share stories, ask more questions, and connect with fellow queer / neurodivergent gardeners. It’s the ideal mix of useful skills and meaningful community in a space designed to feel welcoming and inclusive.
