Keep Growing Detroit - Chickens & Ducks - Queer Garden Network Group

Join us for a group outing to a hands-on urban agriculture workshop hosted by Keep Growing Detroit, a longtime favorite within the Detroit queer gardening community. We’ll be attending together as a crew—no formal membership required—and likely heading out afterward for food, coffee, or a drink to keep the conversation going.

Topics will include coop setup, breed selection, feeding practices, and how to keep your birds healthy and thriving. The session will also cover Detroit’s updated ordinance on keeping chickens and ducks, offering practical guidance for navigating local regulations.
