The June New moon, the strawberry moon, lands on a Sunday this month, which feels like the right invitation to slow all the way down. We're giving the whole afternoon and evening over to it... making space, together, for whatever spiritual experience wants to show up.

The Shape of The Day

3:30 PM | Silent meditation

Meet at the Sledding Hill at Eliza Howell Park. Thirty minutes of unguided, freeform stillness at the top of the hill. Bring a chair or a cushion, settle in with the rest of us, and listen to the wind moving through the leaves.

4:00 PM | Hike

We head into Eliza Howell for a nature walk / hike, some of us together, some of us alone... however you like to move through the trees.

• There are trails in the woods & trails through the grass areas.

5:30 PM | Talks

We'll share some ideas of what our individual spiritual practices are looking like & what we've learned back at the MISC•aLAIR•é•Omm….

• For this meeting we have two fifteen-minute shares, themed this month around our relationship to time.

• We're always looking for others to offer a short presentation at the next meeting.

6:15 PM sharp | Potluck dinner

Presentations wrap and the the potluck starts as the conversation continues, with a campfire if the weather cooperates. Expect strange topics, personal experiences, and the kind of out-there conversation that's hard to find anywhere else.

8:30 PM | Wind down

We wrap at a reasonable hour on purpose, so everyone gets home and to bed without the night stretching too long.
