~ Word of Mouth Folk Show ~
An intimate evening of storytelling, song, food, drink, and genuine connection
If You Missed Our March Show
Our first time in the MISC•aLAIR•é•Omm… space came with several delightful surprises.
Adam J. Snyder led off the night with a stunning indie, acoustic, ambient set which had us drooling from our ears.
Noble Hobo broke the ice with his first performance since being back in MI; including some new songs & songs which have never been recorded.
Tommy Spaghetti & Coconut brought us on a storytelling adventure featuring upright bass, train-hopping & a 1982 Cadillac hearse.
April Edition
The April edition of the Word of Mouth Folk Show is getting a bit of a remix. Between the full moon, shifting schedules, and the general state of the world, we’re dialing things back and leaning into something simpler: a chill, low-key hangout.
Expect a cozy evening of potluck food, campfire 🔥, casual jam sessions, and unstructured conversation—the kind where you wander, meet people, and settle into whatever feels good.
What to bring:
Don't bring your phone 📱 - this is a phone powered off & left in your car space.
A dish to share (potluck style)
Camp chair of camp fire things.
An instrument if you’ve got one
Sweatpants or whatever feels like “I’ve arrived”
Yourself, as you are
There will likely be fresh sourdough floating around. The Noble Hobo may show up with a banjo. Spencer may or may not be contributing rhythm via two spoons. Nothing is guaranteed except a soft place to land for the evening.
Come hang, eat, play, and exist together for a bit.
